This site is dedicated to documenting the progress of renovations we’re doing to our dream home. We bought this beautiful Queen Anne Victorian in the fall of 2007. It was a beautiful happenstance that helped us become its new owners: we had looked at it and walked away, but the owners asked us to take another look and make a reasonable offer. Our interest renewed, we ended up looking again – this time seeing possibilities instead of obstacles; beauty instead of dilapidation. With these new eyes, we made an offer that all sides found fair and here we are!
We love the house and it’s history. It’s a crazy, yet charming, history of owners and purposes – but the structure stands much the same as it did when it was built over 130 years ago. We hope to continue the efforts of the previous owner and continue to rejuvenate the home and add to its splendor.
